Just when you thought tater tots couldn’t get any better, meet fully loaded BBQ Tater Tot Casserole with Leftover Brisket. Crisp and golden tots are smothered in slow-smoked brisket, barbecue sauce, cheddar cheese, jalapenos, and sour cream. The whole thing is given the Country Smokers treatment and thrown on the grill until melty and bubbling with BBQ goodness. Trust us, these won’t last long!

Leftover Brisket

If you don’t have any leftover brisket, you can substitute ground beef, steak, pulled pork or chicken as well.

Cooking Instructions

  1. Heat up your Country Smoker to 325°F. Place tater tots on the bottom of a large cast-iron skillet and arrange in one layer. Place skillet on preheated grill and cook tater tots until crispy and golden.
  2. Top tater tots with brisket, BBQ sauce and cheddar cheese. Return to the grill for 15 minutes or until cheese has melted.
  3. Remove from oven and top with sour cream and jalapenos. Serve immediately (and watch it disappear).
