2 cup Almond Flour

1/3 cup Butter

2 Large Egg

2 teaspoon Gluten Free Baking Powder

½ teaspoon Kosher Salt

Who doesn’t love warm biscuits for a Thanksgiving side? But what about all those carbs? Fear not because this Smoked Almond Flour Biscuit recipe is low card and gluten free. It’s an easy way to enjoy biscuits without the guilt and save those carbs for some pie and stuffing!


Cooking Instructions


  1. Open the lid, turn your grill on and set it to “smoke”. Once the pot has caught, fire up your Country Smokers Pellet Grill to 350°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the dry ingredients and mix with the wet ingredients until a dough forms.
  3. Spray or spread cooking oil onto your cast iron skillet or griddle. Using a cookie scoop, form tablespoon size balls with the dough and slightly press them into biscuit shape. Put the biscuits in the skillet or griddle. The dough won’t rise or spread out much, but be sure there is at least a half inch of space between each biscuit.
  4. Spread some melted butter over the top of each biscuit for a buttery crust.
  5. Place the skillet on the grill and close the lid. The biscuits should be finished cooking after 15 minutes. You can tell when they are golden in color and firm.
  6. Carefully remove the skillet from the grill and place the biscuits on a serving dish or cookie tray. Allow them to cool slightly before serving and enjoy!
